Over the past few months I have been super fascinated by dramatic shadows in portrait work. The inspiration started when a photographer I follow had a series of dramatic shadows on his subjects faces. I was immediately intrigued and personally, I found the images to be very powerful. So first, I started to see what I could do with shadows when it came to my concert work. I was having fun with it, but I wanted a more natural feel to my pictures. Not fabricated light, just pure natural shadows that you have to go out and find. On this day in-particular, me and my friend Savannah struck gold. I was super happy with the outcome of these images and it left me wanting to create more.
