Posing

For us portrait kids, the posing of our subjects is crucial to our work. Especially when it comes to Erin’s grading. We walked into the studios to work on this project thinking it would take us maybe an hour tops. Although we ended up taking almost 3 hours due to the fact that the lighting was much more difficult to set up than we anticipated, and honestly, we were just having fun. With this assignment we set out to create different male and female poses. This was a technical assignment, but it was also time for us to play and experiment. One of the challenges was to create female poses with a male subject, which Bennett absolutely killed it at as you can see. This shot ended up being one of my favorite outtakes from the day.
